Come and capture images of "la vraie France" with Jill Fellows, artist, or Peter Evans, photographer. And have lots of fun doing it!
Over the past 18 years, Pete and Jill have played host to hundreds of guests from all over the world, providing a painting or photography experience that has brought people back, time and time again. Forty-four people have been more than once, and one couple has been nine times!
You'll find us tucked away down in southwest France - in the beautiful Lot et Garonne - a lovely landscape of single track lanes winding past orchards, vineyards, and sunflower fields, to ancient bastide towns and villages.
There is no single room supplement; we don't believe in penalising guests who are travelling unaccompanied. And singles will be comfortable too; all our rooms have at least one double bed.
Set in the ancient areas of Gascony and the Guyenne, this is a region full of fascinating and important history. Our village was founded in 1289 by the English!
Few people are aware that Monet's passion for water-lilies was fired by a botanical garden here in the Lot-et-Garonne. It's a superb location for both painters and photographers!
When Rick Stein visited the area to make his cookery series, 'A French Odyssey', your photography host, Peter Evans, was there to help with the filming.
